What this website stores on your device, why it stores it, how long it stays, and exactly how to switch it off.
In short: this website uses only what it needs to work. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers and no third-party analytics on the site as delivered.
01 What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — do broadly the same job. They let a site remember something between page loads: that you dismissed a banner, which language you chose, or that your session is still valid.
This policy uses the word “cookies” to cover all of these technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is handled more generally.
02 The categories that exist
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to work: security, load balancing, form submission integrity, remembering a consent choice. These do not require your consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot be provided.
- Preference — remember a choice you made, such as language. Optional, and only set if you make such a choice.
- Statistics / analytics — measure how the site is used. These require consent before being set.
- Marketing / advertising — build a profile across sites to target advertising. These require consent, and we do not use them.
03 What this website actually uses
As delivered, this website is static and does not set analytics or advertising cookies. The only client-side storage it may use falls into the strictly necessary and preference categories:
- Consent record — if a cookie banner is enabled, a single entry stores which categories you accepted, so you are not asked on every page. Category: strictly necessary. Typical lifetime: up to 12 months.
- Session integrity — where a form is connected to a backend, a short-lived session or anti-forgery token protects the submission. Category: strictly necessary. Lifetime: the browser session.
- Interface preference — if you set a preference such as language, it is stored locally. Category: preference. Lifetime: until you clear it.
Our web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to a Google server and your IP address is visible to it. That request does not set cookies on this site, but it is a connection to a third party — if you would prefer no third-party request at all, the fonts can be self-hosted on request.
04 Third-party cookies
We do not embed advertising networks, social media pixels or session-recording tools. If a third-party component is ever added — for example an embedded video, a map or a chat widget — it may set its own cookies under its own policy. In that case this page will be updated to name the provider and link to their policy before the component goes live.
05 Consent and withdrawing it
Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent, as permitted by the ePrivacy rules. Anything beyond that — statistics or marketing — is only set after you actively agree, and refusing is as easy as agreeing. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing the site’s cookies in your browser, which resets the choice and makes the banner appear again.
06 Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. Blocking all cookies will break parts of most websites, including form submissions here.

- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
You can also browse in a private or incognito window, which discards cookies when the window is closed.
07 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is still no common industry standard for how sites must react to a “Do Not Track” header. Since this website sets no tracking cookies in the first place, the practical result is the same either way: nothing about your browsing is shared with advertisers.
08 Changes to this policy
If the technologies used on this website change, this page changes with them, and the date at the top is updated. Where a change introduces a new category of cookie, consent will be requested before it is used.
